…have in my hands.. 4 "exclusive" complimentary tickets to the Starlight Cinema thingy which is being held in one of my clubs..in which this case is Bkt Kiara Equestrian. The pass/tickets could be utilized any day. This is one of those outdoor..under the stars movie screening thingy where IDEALLY ..only lovey-dovey couples should go..

Went wif some buddies last year and too lazy to go tis yr…coz already ‘experienced’ it and am still SINGLE (i’ve said its only perfect for couples as why would a bunch of pathetic guys go sit on a field, polo ground actually) and watch a movie ??..So……….*drumrolls*..am giving away the passes to whoever who wants it !!..  *or should i just keep it for myself first ..hoping a girl might come along* hehe.. anyway, am feeling generous now.. check out www.starlightcinema.com for movie info.

nothin much happens on weekdays though..its basically work, eat and sleep.had an itch to go watch "War of THe Worlds" during its premiere screening but too bad the ticktz are all sold out..errgh!. havent even got time to go catch Initial-D..    sigh…

been sneaking around from one blog to another belonging 2strangers like Devaraj, Wendy and Miki from Ipoh to reminisce the HTN times. copied some pix of mine from their blog. *grins..* hopped around from one blog 2another when i found an interesting post from Syen in her blog which describes her trip to Ipoh last week and meeting up wif all the wonderful YA ppl there..not forgetting the …..>>> *food…YUMMY!*.. food !!  hope to be there soon..before the year ends.. u guys ROCK iPOH !! .. wat a way to promote Ipoh, huh?…

taken my small-time mixing into another step last nite on the Roland *sigh* 8 channel mixer when i made a dedicated channel on my mix specially for the acoustic guitar played by Leo. Tried hard to EQ the channel to make it sound like ….err..wat an acoustic guitar should sound like when played a loner. the fullness of it…Just like the AER acoustic guitar amp.

Well..am exaggerating here..but hey!.. it came rather close yea..taking into account the environment,speakers and mixer capabilities (which incld’s me and the hardware itself)..hehe…experimented wif’ panning and adding some reverb into it.. ahh..satisfying..perhaps my dedicated sound-engineer who checks in here suprisingly last nite could comment a little..yea?.. nxt challenge.. mixing on vocals..backups blending, harmony..those kinda stuff.. sounds like fun..

A fresh new start it is..wif the complete revamp of TOW Levites..feels soooo very fresh..like the early morning dew in the highlands.

in short..

Only 2 bands which consists of 24 ppl are in the whole team..carefully selected.hand-picked to perfection considering much flaws and setbacks in the previous manner Newayzz..Major differences this time are:

UNLIMITED Practice/Jamming sessions on weeknites. Any day..

Band System = much betta to polish off skills & tightness, everyone could go wit the same flow, theme, dressing etc…

In short, purRRRfecT..

newayz..yesterday marked the ‘real’ official closing of Heal The Nation Conference as all working committees were given an appreciation dinner treat in PJ. 5 tables altogether- this includes pastors, YA comm’s members, helpers in all areas, parent counsellors and YAM band members. Patrick Leong was there too..!! *where’s Juwita, huh* ??..Started off wif Ps. Clement thanking everyone for making the event a success and that testimonies of reconciliation & healing were still pouring in from all over. Even pastors and youths who did not attend tis event came to know of HTN through the others who joined this 3 days conference. Had a great time during the dinner where laughter was all soooOO audible over the whole restaurant.. Distributed the YAN9 Worship concert VCD’s to those who has pre-book even before the release..haha..it’s sorta like a promo vcd for us. Best LIVE recording and band tightness..so far..since HUGE 04.

Finally, before everyone went off, we were all given a pearl-white colored-limited edition HTN ….*drumrolls*…PEN….and a battery operated fan with soft paper-bag-like blades where the rest of us and esp. Uncle Remy became too excited and suggested that v replaced the blades of the fan to those of 15 inch ones..where v could bring up a scene like Marilyn Monroe’s famous pose..hehe..Ideas of turning the fan into a shaver & etc came along too.. just b4 v exit the restaurant, Ps.Julie gave everyone a hug for wateva we’ve done..awwww…

The nite was not over yet, as went adjourned to mamak just behind the restaurant wif some of the band members namely Ashvin,sheema, samuel, jess, shoban, sanjay, ck, uncle Remy and myself where v continued chatting more technical stuff and technical jokes bout music and sound. To my suprise, Remy whipped out his PDA !!!! for taking down some contacts..*salute..salute* Tks for making this whole event Happen, guys! Till the next gig…..

everythin’s bck to normal after the really awesome conference…. missed all the wonderful people I’ve met there..too many names..cant really remember all.. thank u for all the pix taken wif u all…. u know who u are if u’re reading this.. Been really blessed by all ur words of encouragement. whats left now are memories…sigh…*being so sentimental*..

Nothing’s been happening this 2wks…missed all the hectic sunday practices..felt totally unproductive and lazy every sunday after church. No goin to GTPJ till late nite.. not much of mu$ic lately.. Only goin through the vcd’s of messages and concerts during HTN, not forgetting the tons of pix taken then of which only 10% are uploaded to my Yahoo! photo album..

will blog more later in the week…till then..continue 2 do watcha’ all are doin for Him !

been watching the YAN9 LIVE! at Heal The Nation concert vcd nonstop from Sunday. Extracted and re-EQ-ed the audio and got a copy of our "album" in the car since tuesday..We’re sounding good… maybe i should think of sellin’ em.

we’ve got 230+ ppl at Chill Out and 5 saved !! wif the usual "rojak" presentation, video clips etc.. rushed off to GTPJ once our session is over and did only 3 songs and we’re off..wat a day! glad to see Uncle Remy doin the mix for us… nxt practice on 31/05/05

reached GTPJ at 7:50pm and everyone’s like a busy bee running around doin stuff and there’s rehersal’s + practices..CK and I was needed to b a flag bearer due to insufficient man power. got the bright RED HTN tee from the ppl there… did a few rounds of rehersals and went supper wif the whole YA committee at some corner in PJ. Checked into the hotel and rested for a busy day ahead.

02/06/05

THIS IS THE DAY ! HEAL THE NATION CONFERENCE! ~soundcheck at 8am!! with lotsa youths already rushing into the main hall..things went on smoothly wif the opening and all.. bla bla bla… tons of balloons were released to mark the opening of the conference wif Ps.Clement Wong sharing the first msg after YAM band did a few songs wif the crowd as dead as zombies. cant blame em` as its still early in the morning and its reallly cold in the hall. Met up wif lotsa youths from other states during lunch and tea breaks. Rocked the place at 8pm -nite concert by YAM band. 

Day 2 -03/06/05

overslept till 10am..reached GTPJ at 11..just in time to catch a glimpse of the altar call.. not long till lunch break when I met up wif even more ppl from across Msia comin for this conference..saw Revival Ctr junior band youths performing a few tunes. Keep up the spirit guys!! U guys r doin great.  Things were superb wif the presence of God increasing each nite.. Altar calls are usually the best time both spiritually and musically as there’s unexpected songs..and grooves..wow! its just awesome.. pure satisfaction on the my Motif.

Day 3- 04/06/05

YAN9 band kicked off the last morning with a BANG! Suprisingly, we improved since HUGE last yr. YAN9 Concert VCD’s and Audio Cd’s for sale…anyone??..hehe.. Three days went by so fast and we’re at the last day of conference already. Took Uncle Remy for lunch at BK and got a few encouraging stuff from him on ‘churchy’ issues. Tks for sharing Remy! Parents came for the afternoon workshop sessions and were indeed blessed. Did a few classics from Beatles, The Monkees and Rod Stewart’s -Have I Told U Lately…. Awesome!!! Mike Riley- U rock DUDE!

Dinner wif the ‘happenin’ GTYC youths and Juwita Suwito in A&W later…She’s soooo friendly.Congrats on the AIM award Juwita! Keep it up!
