….after the silence…

<< Thats us doin the annual "loh sang" …and for the past 2 days of this year’s Chinese New Year we had been goin’ round for house visitations where we go house to house of our relatives, friends, church members and even homes of strangers to greet the host with the familiar *evil grin* "kong hei fatt choy", sit down and being served a vast variety of cookies, crackers, carbonated drinks over and over again …..and then the most awaited "angpows"..= $$$.

Joining us for these few days is Yves from Belgium who’s here on students exchange program..Taking him around for CNY visitations to experience the celebration.

Would like to thank all the families for being so generous to welcome us for the visits..Its been really wonderful of y’all.. =)

tryin’ to get in the gong xi fa cai mood since nearly every radio broadcast this morning seems to be playin’ some modern-dance-hip-hop kinda chinese new year tunes. Its by the way the year of the DOG just in case u didnt know and its the 4704th year according to the lunar calendar…*those fella’s who did tis calendar must be really lost* ..hehe..

no shopping yet thus far coz just splurged quite an amount for ICE in my bro’s ride - the bigfoot.. Juz couldnt tolerate the bareness of its interior and the sound sys…will be lookin’ forward to regain some financial stability from the annual ang pow collections.

Also in the highlights of this holiday season is of course the AYA FESTIVAL 2006 conference featuring Delirious? from UK. (wats with the ‘?’ after Delirious?) An event NOT to be missed. *gulpss..breathe in …breathe out…*..NOOO..its not the bout Sanjay gettin’ married thats creating this madness but being him..Sanjay..the super-terror-keng-one of msia’s top musician asking my band (Numinous) to play for his wedding tis sat -21st Jan with guests such as Altered Frequency, Unabashed and other highly rated musicians in his guest list for that nite..but why us ?… wouldnt it kinda embarrass him if we sucked ? anyway..am sure we could handle & he has his reason for askin us to do it… =p but thanks a lot for the opportunity bro..its an honor!

currently panicking on the songs that we’re gonna play and how,when to practice and those sorta stuff.. *panic panic**.. more "field report" after this saturday nite yea..

thanks to Isaac Ng ( my drummer) for making it all the way from PD 2nite to tune the drums at TOW…for FREE.. AND also being so encouraging by saying the songs we’re gonna play for the wedding are EASY !!!….ohh..you’re GOOD !!.haha.. we’ll know come Fri nite as its our 1 and only ONE time practice before the BIG day..

June..my newfound pal from H.U.G.E.  ..its really great gettin’ to know ya’..u rock!!! U truly inspire me..isnt’ it a wonder how God actually brought me to you.. feels like i knew u for sometime already.. newayyzz, shall share more wit ya in the comin weeks..*wink*.. thanks for being such a gr8 pal and keepin me company through the wonders of technology both day and nite..and sacrificing ur phone credits.. *bueekkk*…oh yeah..not forgettin our passion for StarBucks…hehe..

Missions Convention is comin up these few nites…which means nites out on thurs and fri to church as we’re the music team in charge.. so come on people..PLEDGE to Missions to reach out to the unreached…

kinda get a slight taste of wat He’s leading me through lately for the past year or so. Its all in this special plans of His to put me in the youth ministry and to have an insight of whats it all about besides all the hype of music and stuff..

Feels like am so totally blessed and be part of His plans to have Him bringing youths who are goin through tough times into my life as the more youths i meet, the more i seem to know em’ betta and hence the things that goes on in the life of this future generation, though at times it may seems as though its the work of the enemy to make these youths go through all the tough problems, but am sure God has always something much better in stored for this people as all things happen for good. In some way or another, I somehow felt the need to do sumthin’ for the these people that He has brought into my life. Felt so helpless at times as I’m only equipped to listen and try to grabhold of wateva info possible and lend an ear while givin’ em support and encouragement.

So, all you troubled youths who are weary and giving up…, We’re all created for a purpose and there’s no "accidents" in His creation. So strive on and rise up from whateva situations ur goin through. It may seems easier said then done but with Him by our side, all things are possible ! Never let all this circumstances hinder u from achieving what He has planned for you.

Do seek Him always to enable Him to unlock the destiny that has been set before us!

What a great head start for this year as hears His voice and go by His leading every moment..

Xmas & New Year has passed by so quickly in a blink of an eye..Work & schools has all resumed.. Boredom has creeped in as well.. Nothin’s been planned out for the next coupla’ months yet..Awaitin’ suprises that are about to come by with CNY around the corner.. 

Well..just some updates.. A group of young passionate youths are currently at BCM attending the Youth Enrichment School from 3rd-13th.. including my bro.. Its wonderful to know that they’re blessed in all ways while they’re there.. 2 wonderful guest have joined us for the weekend at JCG and main svc…>> Vernie & Michel.. Loads of fun to have u both around.. =)  *nvr have i seen a girl curling up on a corner of my bed and looked smaller than the size of my pillow* (michel)  ….hehe..

Will post up some pix later on after i gather all of it.. More fun and fellowship with all of u on Tuesday’s public holiday..
