it’s DOGGY year ahead…
tryin’ to get in the gong xi fa cai mood since nearly every radio broadcast this morning seems to be playin’ some modern-dance-hip-hop kinda chinese new year tunes. Its by the way the year of the DOG
just in case u didnt know and its the 4704th year according to the lunar calendar…*those fella’s who did tis calendar must be really lost* ..hehe..
no shopping yet thus far coz just splurged quite an amount for ICE in my bro’s ride - the
bigfoot.. Juz couldnt tolerate the bareness of its interior and the sound sys…will be lookin’ forward to regain some financial stability from the annual ang pow collections.
Also in the highlights of this holiday season is of course the AYA FESTIVAL 2006 conference featuring Delirious? from UK. (wats with the ‘?’ after Delirious?) An event NOT to be missed. Click on the links for info. You’ve gotta be in outer space if u havent heard of this..so check it out and get the passes quick. THANK YOU to A.Y.A. for the FREE PASS !!
Finally, some antique & all time favorites of CNY greetings that came to mind:
"Shen Nien Fai Lok"
"SAN TAI KIN HONG ….MAN SI SENG YEE"
"Kam Yuk Mun Thong"
"Long Ma Ching San" (dragon-horse sperm God) according to the cheeky ‘english spoken’ community on sms..
and finally.. the most common,
"Gong Xi Fa Cai…Hong Pau Na Lai"
wishin’ u all lots of happiness, peace & prosperity (and angpow’s of course!!) for this Chinese New Year..*woof woof*

Happy Chinese New Year to you too.
And yes, I have to agree, this post is really cute.
All the cartoon-y pics. Haha.
Ah, well. Stopping blogging due to some reasons, but oh well, I’ll resume one day, perhaps?
